A leading global real estate investment manager is looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to support their Fund Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to join a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a clear path to career progression.
Working closely with the Fund Finance Managers, you will support both statutory and investor reporting, while gaining hands-on experience across financial accounting, fund operations, and transaction support. This is a broad and commercially engaging role that will give you exposure to stakeholders including portfolio managers, client services, tax teams, and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with statutory reporting, including preparation of financial statements, audit working papers, and application of IFRS.
- Support quarterly investor reporting, including NAV calculations and financial commentary.
- Help manage banking and cash operations, including payment preparation and treasury reporting.
- Provide transaction support including financial due diligence and preparation of investment committee materials.
- Assist with corporate governance and tax compliance activities across the fund structure.
- Respond to investor queries and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Take ownership of your own deadlines and workload with an eye on progressing toward a Fund Finance Manager role.
Skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Degree-educated with a strong academic background.
- Solid understanding of IFRS (local GAAP knowledge also beneficial).
- Competent in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of corporate tax and VAT compliance is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise with both finance and non-finance professionals.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and a team-focused approach.
