An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing European real estate private equity manager specialising in logistics assets. The business manages several billion euros of assets across a large, diversified portfolio and has significant committed capital available for deployment from long-term institutional investors.

The role sits within the Finance & Operations team and offers exposure across commercial finance, fund accounting, and portfolio support. This is a broad, hands‑on position suited to someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys working in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.

The Role

  • Overseeing timely and accurate management accounts for SPVs and fund consolidations (local GAAP and US GAAP)
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Managing business cash flow and optimising working capital at SPV level
  • Liaising with external auditors to prepare statutory accounts
  • Managing relationships with account‑holding banks and monitoring covenant reporting
  • Preparing and coordinating tax reporting (VAT and corporate tax) and liaising with external tax advisers
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Coordinating with external directors and service providers to support entity administration
  • Implementing, reviewing, and improving financial systems and processes
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Preparing debt covenant calculations
  • Supporting capital drawdowns and capital statements
  • Assisting with investor reporting related to accounting and capital activity
  • Supporting portfolio management, returns analysis, and asset performance monitoring versus underwriting

The Candidate

  • 3–4 years’ experience in accounting or finance (ACA / ACCA or equivalent preferred)
  • Experience in real estate and/or private equity accounting (strongly preferred)
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with property or fund accounting systems (Yardi experience advantageous)
  • Fluency in French, German, Dutch, or Italian (highly desirable)
  • A proactive, hard‑working attitude with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
