Finance Director (FP&A)

Overview:

A global real estate investment manager is looking to appoint a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join its London-based real estate finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing performance reporting, valuations, and business plan analysis across a diversified European real estate portfolio, covering sectors such as office, retail, residential, and hospitality. The position offers exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidation and analysis of performance metrics across the European platform
• Oversee quarterly valuation processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal standards
• Collaborate with investor relations and fundraising teams to support financial reporting and investor deliverables
• Review and challenge business plan assumptions, value drivers, and forecast models
• Act as a key liaison between finance, portfolio companies, and other internal teams
• Support onboarding of new investments and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
• Monitor liquidity needs and coordinate with global teams to manage funding flows

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, preferably in real estate or private capital markets
• Strong analytical skills with experience in valuations and financial modelling
• Proven ability to work within a matrixed, multi-jurisdictional environment
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Degree-qualified (2:1 or higher); proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
