Overview This is STRAKER\’S first… we are looking for an outstanding General Manager .With the imminent opening of Straker\’s Dining room next door, and other fun projects on the horizon, we are looking for the perfect person to lead Straker\’s through this exciting new chapter as George steps into a new and exciting role.With the support of the Head of Operations and George\’s in depth knowledge of all things Straker\’s, this is the perfect role for someone who is seasoned at running busy, high profile restaurants.You\’ll be responsible for helping shape the guest experience, driving operational excellence, and building a motivated, high-performing team.This is not an admin only role and we can\’t stress enough how much this requires personality and a love of guest and team interaction.Responsibilities Help shape the guest experience, drive operational excellence, and build a motivated, high-performing team.Lead and manage busy, high-profile restaurant operations.Lead from the front, running excellent services with guest engagement and journey in mind at all times.Qualifications Has at least two year\’s experience as General Manager in a high quality, fast paced restaurant.Has their finger on the pulse of the hospitality scene and has good knowledge of Tom\’s style of cooking and execution.Has strong business acumen and experience in maintaining budgets and optimising expenses (stock control, COGs, GP%).Has a strong grasp of legal compliance and due diligence with the ability to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and compliance.Has proven experience in training and building a team with a great culture.Understands the inner workings of a kitchen.Employment type Full-timeSeniority level Mid-Senior levelJob function Management and ManufacturingIndustries RestaurantsSend your CV our way if this sounds like you!
