- We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused
Pallet Control Team Leader to lead pallet management across the Strait Link network.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role is responsible for driving pallet control processes, improving inventory accuracy, minimising asset loss, and leading a team that supports efficient logistics operations across the business.
The preferred location for this role is Launceston however we will also consider Burnie, Devonport, and Hobart.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics, supply chain or inventory professional who enjoys process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and leading teams to achieve operational excellence.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage pallet control processes across the Strait Link network.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance pallet management performance.
- Investigate and resolve pallet discrepancies, imbalances and complex customer queries.
- Provide training, coaching and development to employees involved in pallet control activities.
- Coordinate team resources and cross-training to ensure coverage during peak periods and employee absences.
- Drive compliance with pallet processing procedures and business-wide accountability.
- Work closely with operations, commercial and sales teams to provide pallet insights, reporting and recommendations.
- Analyse pallet trends, develop KPIs and deliver accurate management reports.
- Build strong relationships with customers, service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the key point of contact for external pallet pooling providers and related partners.

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
