Straight-Line Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Welder to join our client’s established fabrication team in Stourbridge. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Pipe Welder with strong fabrication experience and the ability to work confidently across multiple welding processes. The client specialises in pipe fabrication, so previous experience working with pipework and fabrication is highly desirable. The Ideal Pipe Welder: * Proven experience as a Pipe Welder * Strong experience with MIG, TIG, Stick/MMA and MAG welding * Previous experience within a pipe fabrication / engineering environment * Able to read and work from engineering drawings * Confident working to specifications and required welding standards * Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship * Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious * Able to work independently and as part of a team Duties: * Fabricating and welding pipework * Carrying out MIG, TIG, Stick/MMA and MAG welding * Working from engineering drawings and specifications * Preparing, fitting and welding pipe sections * Ensuring welds meet the required quality standards * Grinding, cleaning and preparing materials * Carrying out general fabrication duties as required * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Job Details: Location: Stourbridge Rate: £19.00 – £23.00 per hour, depending on experience Role: Pipe Welder Sector: Pipe Fabrication / Engineering If you have strong pipe welding experience and are confident working across MIG, TIG, Stick/MMA and MAG, apply now or contact Straight-Line Group on (phone number removed) for more information
