Straight-Line Group are currently looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder for an immediate start with a well-established client in the Stourbridge and West Midlands area.
Due to continued growth and increasing workloads, our client is looking to expand their team with a skilled and reliable Fabricator / Welder to support ongoing workshop and site-based projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator / Welder looking for consistent work, with potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
- Fabrication from engineering drawings.
- Fabrication and installation of welded pipework.
- Working with screwed pipework.
- General pipe fitting and site installation.
- Carrying out workshop and site-based fabrication.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and safety.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Fabricator / Welder is essential.
- Experience fabricating from engineering drawings.
- Experience with welded pipework and general pipe fitting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good standard of workmanship and reliability.
- Valid CSCS Card or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own basic tools if working as a sole trader or subcontractor.
