Straight-Line Group are currently looking for experienced Fire Stoppers / Fire Protection Operatives to start on site for a valued client, based in Rugby. This is a long-term role and the ideal candidates will have experience with installing and maintaining fire stopping systems such as batt and mastic, fire curtains, pipe collars, wraps, and penetration seals to block fire and smoke through walls.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of passive fire protection systems in line with industry standards
- Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with compliance requirements
- Adhering to health & safety regulations at all times
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Passive Fire Protection
- Must be local or within commuting distance to Rugby, CV21 postcode
Occasionally working on static mobile towers no higher than three metres, so a PASMA card would be beneficial but not essential.
Rate: up to Β£230 a day (CIS)
Start date: 22nd September 2026
Duration: Until January 2027
