Permanent Position | Excellent Opportunity I’m currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established business based in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking to join a professional team, work on a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles, and develop their career within the commercial vehicle industry. The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, roadworthy and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs. * Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults. * Completing inspections, safety checks and preventative maintenance. * Identifying faults and carrying out effective repairs. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations. * Maintaining accurate service records and workshop documentation. The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician. * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. * Knowledge of HGV maintenance, servicing and repairs. * A recognised qualification in vehicle maintenance or a similar discipline is desirable. * A proactive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
