We are currently recruiting for experienced Coded Pipe Welders / Fabricators to join a busy and established engineering operation. We are looking for skilled welders with proven experience working to X-ray standard, producing high-quality pipework and fabrications in demanding industrial environments.
The Role
- Welding and fabricating pipework and associated components
- Working from engineering drawings, weld procedures and specifications
- Producing high-quality welds to X-ray / radiographic inspection standard
- Working with a range of pipe materials and wall thicknesses
- Carrying out fabrication, fitting, preparation and welding duties
- Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards
- Working to tight tolerances and project deadlines
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a coded pipe welder / pipe fabricator
- Current and relevant welding qualifications/coding
- Demonstrable experience producing welds to X-ray standard
- Confident reading engineering drawings and weld procedures
- Strong fabrication and pipe-fitting skills
- Experience within an industrial, engineering, oil & gas, petrochemical, power or similar environment would be advantageous
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a team
