We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welder to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder with experience working on high-quality stainless steel fabrication and pipework projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for TIG welding and light fabrication of stainless steel components, working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality work to industry standards.
Essential Requirements
- Highly competent in TIG welding 304 and 316 stainless steel.
- Previously held recognised welding codes (current coding is desirable but not essential if previously coded).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Experience with light fabrication and preparing pipework and fabricated components from drawings.
- Own welding PPE.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport, with the flexibility to travel to various client sites.
- Successful completion of a weld test.
Desirable Experience
- Based in or around Coventry or willing to work from the Coventry site.
- Previous experience working on industrial mechanical, process, or pipework installations.
