Straight-Line Group are currently looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to start on site. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter & Decorator to join a busy project, carrying out a range of internal decorating and finishing works.

The Role: The successful Painter & Decorator will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and painting new partitions and wall linings
  • Applying 1 mist coat + 2 full coats of emulsion
  • Preparing and painting new and existing skirting boards
  • Applying undercoat and 2 finish coats of oil-based paint
  • Decorating existing walls to marked-up areas
  • Painting existing and new single doors
  • Painting existing double doors
  • Carrying out mastic works, including preparation and materials
  • Working alongside other trades to ensure a high standard of finish throughout the project

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
  • Strong experience with internal painting and decorating
  • Confident with emulsion and oil-based paint systems
  • Experience preparing surfaces to a high standard
  • Able to deliver a clean, professional finish
  • Reliable and punctual
  • CSCS card preferred
  • Own tools and PPE

Start: Immediate / ASAP

Duration: Ongoing project

Rate: Negotiable / dependent on experience
