Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in Redditch. We’re on the hunt for a proactive and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a technically challenging role where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities: * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a range of machinery and equipment * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults * Support installation and commissioning of new equipment * Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations * Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports Desirable Qualifications and Skills: * Time-served Engineer with a recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent). * Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment preferred. * Strong experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. * Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens/Allen Bradley advantageous). * Able to read technical drawings and work independently. * Excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. Salary – Β£37,5000 / annum Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30 – 15:30 and Friday 06:30 – 12:30 (guaranteed overtime – 10 hours per week) If this sounds of interest, please apply now!
