Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring Handymen/IPAF operators around London.

This project involves removing and replacing bricks or plasterboard in buildings (offices, flats, university accommodation, etc.) for a fire safety engineer to check everything is safe behind what has been removed.

You will be working with a labourer/banksman who will monitor the bottom of the IPAF. If you know an individual who would be suitable, please make it known within your application.

The ideal candidate:

  • MUST have an IPAF ticket
  • MUST have experience with brickwork and dry-lining
  • MUST have a full UK Driving License and a van/vehicle

This will be for one week 'trial' with 12 months of work planned if you are successful in your first week.

The working hours are 8am-5pm.
