Job Description

Straight Forward Recruitment are actively looking for a motivated Warehouse/Logistics operative to support the Logistics Coordinator for our client in NR4. 

Role Overview:You’ll assist with daily warehouse and logistics tasks, including picking, packing, stock management, and some driving duties. Training will be provided, but a basic knowledge of industrial items like cables, panels, valves, probes, tapes, and screws is essential.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: This will be for an initial 4-week period, with a possibility of extension. 

Pay Rate: £12.21per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack orders accurately (training provided)

  • Log into courier websites to enter shipment details and print labels

  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse/store area

  • Receive and label incoming stock

  • Physically lift and move boxes (manual handling training provided if needed)

  • Drive vans to refuel and occasionally collect items locally in Norwich

  • Support timely dispatches in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of industrial/commercial installation items preferred

  • Physically able to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks

  • Manual Handling certification preferred or willingness to complete training

  • Valid driving licence and ability to drive vans safely

  • Reliable, organised, and a team player
