Straight Forward Recruitment is currently recruiting Production Packing Staff for a cutting-edge vertical farm based in Easton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, sustainable company at the forefront of modern agriculture.

Location: Easton

Department: Packing

Hours (Current): Monday to Wednesday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (with the possibility of Thursday shifts depending on workload)

Future Hours: Position will become full-time early next year

Future Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Working Temperature: 8°C

Type: Full-Time (Temp to Perm Opportunities)

Experience: Preferred

Key Duties:

  • Packing fresh produce to high standards
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Labelling and preparing items for dispatch
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a chilled (8°C) environment
  • Following all health and safety protocols

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous packing or warehouse experience preferred
  • Candidates with quick hand skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment (protective clothing provided)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
  • Flexible and adaptable, particularly during the transition to: Full-time hours early next year
  • A 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (06:00 – 18:00)
