Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are recruiting a reliable Packing Operative to join a vertical farming facility, working mainly in the packing room and supporting Goods In / Goods Out operations.
Pay: £12.21 per hour, increases to £12.27 per hour after 2 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 16:00, will change to 4 on / 4 off, 06:00 – 18:00 in the near future. Only apply if you can work the future 4 on / 4 off shift.
The Role:
- Packing fresh produce to customer specifications
- Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch
- Supporting goods in / goods out and stock control
- Basic Excel updates for stock and dispatch records
- General warehouse and yard duties
- Working in a chilled packing room (approx. 8°C)
Requirements:
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to stay until the job is done
- Basic to fair Excel skills
- Reliable, flexible, and hardworking
- Previous packing or warehouse experience preferred
