Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our client’s manufacturing team.

Shift Pattern: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

You will work as part of a 2-person production team, with each operative responsible for running a machine.

There are two machines and operatives will rotate between the two machines every 3 hours to share the workload.

The role involves operating machinery, loading raw materials, packing finished products, labelling and carrying out quality checks.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.

Work as part of a 2-person team to maintain continuous production.

Rotate between the fast and slow machines every 3 hours.

Load raw materials into the machinery as required.

Use the provided lifting aid to assist with handling 25kg bags.

Monitor machinery and report any faults or issues.

Carry out quality checks on finished products.

Pack finished products into boxes according to production requirements.

Label boxes correctly and ensure the correct product and quantity are recorded.

Identify and remove defective or damaged products.

Keep the production and packing areas clean and tidy.

Follow all company health & safety and production procedures.

Complete required production records and paperwork.

Work to agreed production targets and quality standards.
