Straight Forward Recruitment are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a busy printing firm based in Norwich (NR6, near the airport). IMMEDIATE STARTS.
Shift Times: 05:30 – 13:30, Monday to Friday. Possible overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour.
Main Duties Include:
- Picking and packing products into boxes
- Picking and packing products in accordance with pick sheets
- Lifting boxes onto scanners and scanning labels for dispatch
- Preparing products for dispatch
- Moving scanned boxes onto pallets
- Use of pallet trucks and shrink wrapping machines (full training provided)
- Inserting and hand collation of products
- Manual bagging, scanning and order picking
This role requires:
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties
- Physical movements including bending and lifting
Some aspects of the role are physically demanding, including lifting boxes onto scanning tables and pallets. Previous experience in a pick/pack warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
