Straight Forward Recruitment is recruiting a Goods Return Operative for a busy warehouse in the Rackheath/Norwich area.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary
The Role
You will be responsible for processing returned goods, checking items for damage and ensuring products are accurately recorded and sorted. This is a physically demanding role that requires you to be on your feet throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Process returned products.
- Scan barcodes and update records using an iPad or handheld scanner.
- Check returned items for damage or missing parts.
- Sort products into the correct locations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Assist with end-of-day housekeeping.
Requirements
- Able to lift items up to 20kg.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable using basic handheld technology.
- Good communication skills and understanding of English.
- Previous warehouse or returns experience is beneficial but not essential.
- An interest in fishing or angling is an advantage.
