The Role
We’re looking for a skilled, solutions-focused Mid-Level Developer to join the Strafe Creative team. You’ll build and maintain high-quality websites and apps, contribute to technical discovery sessions, and help guide junior developers as they grow.
What you’ll be doing:
- Writing efficient, maintainable code across our core programming languages.
- Handling bug fixes, security updates, and smooth delivery for client sites.
- Collaborating in discovery sessions to define project tech requirements and integrations.
- Owning build stages from requirements through QA to launch, keeping documentation clear and up to date.
- Conducting code reviews and being happy to receive constructive feedback.
- Completing QA checklists and catching issues before they go live.
- Reviewing designs with an eye on scope, budget, and technical feasibility.
- Keeping projects moving: managing deadlines, flagging risks, and tracking progress in Monday.com.
- Estimating development tasks accurately and updating PMs on progress.
- Presenting technical solutions to clients in a clear, approachable way.
- Sharing new tools, frameworks, and ideas with the team—and experimenting to find smarter ways of working.
- Mentoring juniors, encouraging good practices, and supporting a culture of collaboration.
