We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is committed to making a positive difference to the lives and education of young people. Stradbroke is a vibrant and inclusive learning community with approximately 500 pupils, including a nursery and an Integrated Resource for children with special educational needs. Following our most recent Ofsted inspection in July 2022, the school was judged to be Good in every area.
We are looking for a positive, energetic and professional Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and supportive team. Candidates should hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) and possess excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills. Experience of working within a primary school setting is desirable. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff, delivering targeted interventions and supporting individual pupils and small groups to maximise progress and achievement. They will demonstrate initiative, flexibility and a proactive approach to their work, while maintaining high expectations for all pupils.
We are looking for someone who is patient, inspirational and inclusive in their approach to supporting children. You should be well organised, adaptable and committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to secure the very best outcomes for every child at Stradbroke.
