The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for producing and nurturing leads, advancing the sales process through prospecting and exploration. The SDR will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets using telemarketing, digital and social selling, and other outreach channels.
Responsibilities
- Direct outreach and followâup on marketingâoriginated or derived leads generated through external channels such as telemarketing, digital and social marketing/selling, and email marketing.
- Conduct exploratory research to identify potential target accounts and decision makers within them.
- Collaborate with sales and presales teams to refine best sales approaches and angles.
- Create and deliver marketingâqualified opportunities that meet predefined criteria for handâoff to sales.
- Support marketing efforts at trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
- Leverage market insights and intent data to target the right prospect organizations at the right time.
- Influence directâtoâprospect campaigns and messaging based on prospect interactions.
- Promote Strada's profile and awareness through key B2B social channels like LinkedIn and X.
Requirements
- 2â3 years of experience in a business or sales development role.
- Preferred experience in HR Tech/SaaS.
- Experience with the North American market and alignment of working hours to North America.
- Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent listening and objectionâhandling skills.
- Selfâmotivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Digitally savvy with experience using Sales Navigator and other outreach tools.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
