THE ROLE
Strada is seeking a Director, Strategic Sales – Global Payroll Payments to drive revenue growth within our existing enterprise client base. This is a quota-carrying, sales-first role focused on expanding wallet share, leading upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and attaching payment solutions across global payroll operations. You will partner closely with account teams to unlock new revenue streams and accelerate adoption of Strada’s payment capabilities. You will regularly engage and sell to senior stakeholders across Payroll, Finance, and Treasury, positioning strategic value at the intersection of global payroll and enterprise payments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive revenue expansion within existing clients: Own and deliver on upsell and cross-sell targets across Strada’s payroll customer base.
- Lead complex, enterprise sales cycles: Identify, qualify, and close opportunities spanning salary payments, pensions, and tax/statutory disbursements.
- Sell to senior Finance & Treasury stakeholders: Engage Treasurers, CFOs, and Finance leaders on liquidity, cash management, risk, and payment optimization.
- Execute account growth strategies: Build and deliver against structured account plans with clear pipeline and revenue targets.
- Partner in a co-sell model: Work alongside Account Management and broader Sales to drive pipeline and conversion within strategic accounts.
- Position value-based solutions: Articulate the commercial, operational, and financial benefits of integrating global payroll and payments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Align with Product, Implementation, and Operations to ensure successful deal execution and client adoption.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven enterprise sales leader (Director level or equivalent) with a track record of exceeding quota.
- Experience selling into Payroll/HRTech, Payments/FinTech, or financial/treasury-focused solutions.
- Demonstrated success in expanding existing enterprise accounts and driving complex deals.
- Strong ability to sell into Treasury and Finance organizations (cash management, cross-border payments, liquidity, risk).
- Deep understanding of global payroll processes and/or payment flows.
- Skilled in multi-stakeholder sales environments and executive-level engagement.
- Highly collaborative and effective in a co-sell model.
