Established for over 30 years, our client offers in-store fixtures and promotions direct to the end users as well as trade. Offering in-house design, production and manufacturing all under one roof.
Now looking for a highly creative and passionate Senior 3D Concept Designer, to join the team. A fantastic opportunity to work with some of the world’s biggest health and beauty brands.
Job Role
- Take briefs directly from clients and Account Managers
- Lead a project by thoroughly evaluating a brief; establishing a clear understanding of the budget, timescales and other constraints involved
- Provide guidance to the more junior team members
- Ability to evaluate & rationalise designs to arrive at meaningful, relevant solutions through a process of creative exploration
- Conduct research & gather insights that consider psychology and customer behaviours and translate your findings into design outputs
- Take direction and understand the point of view of others, whilst also able to explain your own ideas effectively
- Communicate ideas through freehand sketching, CAD modelling and visualisation
- Experience of taking a concept through to the prototyping and development process with the manufacturing team; a hands-on/hands-ready approach is vital
- Ability to identify new trends and innovation, from a broad range of stimulus and resources
Skills and Experience
- Absolute passion for design and delivering exceptional retail experiences
- Proficiency in 3DS Max/V-Ray and Adobe CC is essential; SketchUp experience would be a bonus
- A strong commercial portfolio showcasing an extensive range of retail design and retail marketing
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently
- The ability to be client-facing and build strategic customer relationships
- A thorough understanding of, (and experience working with), the materials, processes and construction methods required to execute and deliver your proposed designs
- Proactive, adaptable & flexible to meet the demands of the industry
- Able to present to a few or a wider audience and engage the audience in your story
- Capable of interpreting a brand’s visual identity, producing concepts that align with the brand and resonate with the target consumer
