Fitted Furniture Installers Required by Strachan Furniture Makers Ltd. Earn Full Time £1500 + per week. Fitter Van provided if required. Over four generations, Strachan Furniture Makers have become one of the UKs leading companies in the fitted furniture market supplying luxury products direct to the customer.

Furniture Fitters are required to carry out fitted furniture installations of our luxury bespoke Bedroom, Home Office, Dressing Room, Lounge, Wall Bed, Library and Cinema Room fitted furniture for our discerning customers. Wishing to build upon our continued success with more new products in 2026 we seek to recruit experienced furniture fitters.

The position requires a person with:

  • First class installation skills to achieve successful installations
  • Ability to interpret furniture designs and installation CAD drawings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in the bedroom or home improvements market

We do provide induction training and support programmes on an ongoing basis. Your work will be:

  • Local to you wherever possible
  • Some travel will be required out of area as we operate Nationwide
  • Full time self-employed status well remunerated on a job-by-job basis

In return:

  • Earn £1500 + per week
  • Van provided if required (subject to terms)
  • Contribution towards fuel costs, parking fees and other out of pockets expenses
  • Subsistence contribution with overnight accommodation (when applicable)
  • Paid training and expenses at Head Office during induction
  • Consistent, pre-planned weekly work
