Estimator – Strachan & Kemp Facilities Services

Strachan & Kemp Facilities Services is part of the SK Group, a family-owned facilities management business delivering hard and soft FM services across the UK. We support over 1,400 sites nationwide, operating 24/7/365 across commercial, retail, industrial, healthcare, education, hospitality, and public sector environments.

We're looking for an Estimator to manage and deliver accurate, commercially competitive quotations across all service lines.

What you'll be doing

  • Reviewing client requirements and preparing accurate cost breakdowns
  • Liaising with operational teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing
  • Managing quotation deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
  • Maintaining records within company CRM and CAFM systems
  • Supporting tender submissions, mobilisation planning, and pipeline reporting
  • Mentoring a Junior Estimator as the department grows

What we're looking for

  • Background in estimating, FM, construction, building services, or maintenance
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Commercially aware with good stakeholder communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Full UK driving licence required

Desirable: CAFM experience (Simpro, Concept, Maximo), relevant qualifications (HNC/HND, IWFM, NEBOSH, IOSH)
