The purpose of the role is to design, manage, coordinate, and deliver mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems throughout a project's lifecycle, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, budget, and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with design teams to review and finalise technical specifications.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of complex MEICA assets across tunnel/siphon interfaces, shaft structures and surface valve houses.
- Subcontractor Management: Lead procurement and management of specialist MEICA subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- System Integration: Manage the integration of heavy mechanical pumping systems, MCC's, PLC/SCADA networks and telemetry interfaces.
- Health and Safety Leadership: Ensure complete compliance with all CDM regulations, company health and safety standards and environmental requirements across all active sites.
Technical Knowledge
- Pumps, motors, valves, pipework, MCCs (Motor Control Centres), VSDs (Variable Speed Drives).
- PLC and SCADA systems.
- Instrumentation and control systems.
- UK electrical and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Automation, or related Engineering discipline.
- Previous water industry experience (desirable).
- Proven track record as a MEICA Manager on major UK infrastructure projects.
- Excellent knowledge of high voltage/low voltage distribution, large scale pumping systems and automation architecture.
- Familiarity with manging packages under NEC3 or NEC4 contract conditions (desirable).
