The IT Service & Support Administrator will be responsible for all non-technical administration tasks for the IT team. The candidate will be a key part of the day-to-day organisation to ensure that the department runs smoothly. Responsibilities will range from general administration tasks to engaging with customers and assisting with projects. This is a non-technical role; however, the successful candidate will have a basic understanding of IT equipment and language.

Responsibilities

  • Stock control and ordering IT kits for Head Office and Projects - ensure stockroom has the required amount of stock and order replacement stock as needed.
  • Maintaining assets in the Asset Management System including but not limited to mobile phones, laptops, SIM cards etc.
  • Responsible for the removal of retired equipment.
  • Responsible for checking invoices and deliveries against purchase orders.
  • New Starters - ensure that the relevant equipment and relevant accounts for new starters are available and prepared in time as part of their onboarding process.
  • Leavers - ensure that all leaver equipment is returned in a timely manner.
  • Generating reports - preparing reports, overviews, executive summaries and consolidating documents.
  • Assist with various small and medium projects, organising tasks and keeping track of project timelines as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Appreciation and basic understanding of IT equipment and language.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Good planning and numeracy skills.
  • A methodical approach to work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Excel.
  • Good English is mandatory; German knowledge is preferred, but not essential.
