STRABAG UK is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our growing Power team, supporting the delivery of major Transmission & Distribution projects across the UK.
Required:
- Skills card - CSCS Card (relevant type)All roles are expected to have the relevant competency skills cards where site based work is required
- HNC/HND/Degree qualified or relevant experience in Quality Management
- Relevant experience and qualifications for working with High Voltage / Low Voltage transmission & distribution systems
- Experience in Quality Management Systems
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in standard computer programmes including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management skills to ensure that all work is prioritised to meet project requirements
- Team player with ability to coach and mentor others as required
- Member of CQI
- HND / Degree in Engineering Discipline desirable

Requirments:
- Surveillances of activities supporting the Project Quality Plan and Contractors Quality Plans / Inspection and Test Plans
- Manage and support Project teams in the development of Inspection Test Plans/Quality Checklists
- Work closely with the site engineers to ensure the Quality process is being carried out on site.
- Manage and carry out regular inspections/audits to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Quality Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
- Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements
- Coordinate and manage closure of non-conformities or performance improvement actions.
- Provide Quality input into the Supplier pre-qualification process where required.
- Review of documentation such as Quality Plans, including documents originated by Contractors.
- Provide Quality support to the project / Client as required.
