STRABAG UK are seeking an organised, proactive and professional Office Manager to join our Build Subdivision on a fixed-term maternity cover contract to be based in our Solihull office.

About the role
- We are seeking an organised, proactive and professional Office Manager to join our Build Subdivision on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
Based in our Solihull office, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office while providing administrative support to the leadership team and wider business.
Requirements
- Firstpoint of contact for all office queries and visitors.
- Ensureoffice wide compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Responsiblefor the smooth running of the office environment.
- Responsiblefor the provision and supply of stationery, printers and furniture withinthe office.
- Respondto Customers feedback and complaints via the website / mailbox.
- Administerand oversee any document control system for any office usageresponsibility (i. e. utility bills / sub-contractor documentation etc).
- Ensuringoffice set ups are established and maintained in accordance with company'sstandards.
- Ensurethere are sufficient quantities of the appropriate PPE in the office tomeet the requirements.
- Processmonthly credit card and expense reports.
- Carryout office inductions for new starters.
- Carryout equipment checks on monthly basis and report findings (inc. annual PATtests)
- Maintainhigh standards of cleanliness, and the upkeep of office environment
- Ensure ALL statutory notices are displayed and visible where appropriate.
- Provideweekly and cumulative schedules of materials, equipment and stationeryorder for the office.
- Keepa record of all visitors to the office for review.
- Recommendand provide the necessary training to up skill all members of the team.
- Carryout equipment checks on monthly basis and report findings (inc. annual PATtests).
- Lookfor innovative solutions across the office and to share across the Groupto increase productivity / reduce costs and ensure "best possible"solutions are achieved.
- Responsiblefor the contract cleaning within the office
- Organiseand manage the Managing Directors inbox and diary.
- Co-ordinatethe Business Unit Managers daily correspondence and communication.
- Makeall travel and accommodation arrangements, when necessary, including allelements of international travel
- Organiseand collate paperwork for board and management meetings, includingagendas, note-taking, and following up on action points.
- Provideroutine and ad hoc management information and reports.
- Manageinternal/external communications and arrangements on behalf of the Business Unit Managers, including communication with other internationalbusiness units within the group.
- Arrangeexternal and internal meetings, as required.
- Createand maintain paper and computer-based filing systems.
- Alwaysuphold confidentiality and respect sensitivities.
- Participatein ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
