Proven record of at least 3-year experience in a similar role (preferably Construction Industry).

Strong communication skills and empathy in dealing with external partners, employees, colleagues, managers and internal customers.

Professional understanding of Corporate Insurance Management.

To strengthen our team for a newly created position in London we are looking for a proven Senior Insurance Advisor:

As our Senior Insurance Advisor you will ensure the implementation of group insurance programs and act as advisor to the operative business of the Group in the United Kingdom. You will be part of the international insurance organization of BRVZ / Insurances which supports the group’s activities worldwide, with offices in 15 countries. It is an exciting role in a rapidly growing Group Country, offering an international work environment at the interface of construction and insurance.

  • Support the operative business of the STRABAG Group in the UK in terms of Insurance.
  • Implement, use and service local policies of international Group Insurance programs.
  • Cooperate with international departments of BRVZ Insurance who will lead the topic of placements of large and mega projects and special risks outside the scope of annual group covers.
  • Act as link between the operative business, UK brokers and the international insurance team to which you will belong organizationally.
  • Take an active role for Insurance Claims by independently communicating within involved parties to collect required information and ensure required reporting to insurances and liaise with other departments (e.g. legal, health and safety) as appropriate and process claims in the internal IT system.
  • Actively contribute to maintain and expand business relationships with the UK insurance market.
  • Have a professional understanding of local laws and regulations with regards to insurance (e.g. compulsory classes of insurance) and liaise within international departments.
  • Administer premium payments and process insurance documentations in the internal IT systems.
  • Participate in the implementation of special projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the operative business with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance of the organisation with Insurance regulations and recommend best practice, reviews and modification of policies and processes to maintain compliance.
  • Contribute to ensure that the Insurance Management is driven in alignment with the group insurance directives.
