- Skills:
- Cad - CSCS Card.
- HNC/HND/Degree Qualified or relevant experience in Quality Management.
- Member of CQI.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in standard computer programmes including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of P6 programmes desired, not required.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure that all work is prioritised to meet project requirements.
- Experience in LEAN tools and techniques desired, not required.
- Team player with ability to coach and mentor others as required.
- Good understanding of Common Data Environment standards and processes, and good understanding of written BIM.
- Experienced internal quality auditor.
Be a highly visible presence on site, working closely with delivery teams, as the subject management expert on quality management. Work closely with the site engineers to assure the HARP’s quality management system (QMS) meets ISO 9001 standard, and is executed on site. Manage and support project teams in the timely development of Inspection Test Plans and quality checklists to assure that inspection and tests are planned well in advance of works (or fabrication) commencing. Develop an expert understanding of STRABAG UK (SUK)’s Integrated Management System (IMS) including the QMS and educate process owners on their responsibilities. Manage and carry out regular audits and inspections to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with SUK’s Quality Policy and IMS and the HARP Quality Statement and IMS. Support third party audits on HARP from certification bodies and client representatives. Support material approval process and records. Surveillance activities on reviewing records and assuring HARP’s Project Quality Plan (PQP) and subcontractors’ Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans. Lead and coach quality engineers to develop their skills and experience towards the next in their careers. Maintain HARP quality management records to assure compliance with SUK’s processes and procedures, and HARP’s contract requirements. Coordinate and manage closure of non-conformities (NCRs) or performance improvement actions. Assist in analysis of quality management data, such as NCRs, OFIs, to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations on corrective and preventative actions in processes, and drive continual improvement. Provide Quality Management input into the supplier pre-qualification process, where required. Work within the project Common Data Environment to create, upload and maintain Quality Management documents and information. Support activities to uphold BIM standards and requirements. Support and liaise with Quality Inspectors in site inspections, such as welding, MEP and other specialist processes. Be a role model in health, safety and wellbeing standards and initiatives. Provide Quality Management support to the project and client, as required. Support good practices in Supply Chain Quality Management.
