We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MIECA Manager to join us on the HARP project in the North West of England.

The purpose of the role is to design, manage, coordinate, and deliver mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems throughout a project's lifecycle, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, budget, and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and review MEICA designs and technical specifications.
  • Manage the procurement of equipment and subcontractors for the project.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and control systems integration.
  • Provide support for installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Ensure compliance is maintained in accordance with UK regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Monitor project schedules, costs, risks, and quality performance.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and handover records.
  • Provide technical support during construction and operational phases.
  • Typical Technical Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, pipework, MCCs (Motor Control Centres), VSDs (Variable Speed Drives).
  • A solid understanding of PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Experience in instrumentation and control systems.
  • A strong background in water and wastewater treatment processes (for utility-sector roles).
  • Auto CAD and other engineering design software experience.
  • Working knowledge of UK electrical and safety regulations.
