Your contribution to our company:
- Devise and deliver Procurement Strategy across the UK business.
- Lead and drive Procurement Strategy.
- Establish, build, and maintain collaborative relationships with all key suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers to secure savings.
- Provide material and goods projections to key suppliers to ensure availability on a timely basis.
- Ensure that Procurement are leading the sub-contract procurement across the business.
- Support the Work Winning teams and ensure that Procurement Strategies are in place.
- Manage the Procurement team group-wide, including recruitment, developing staff, and managing agreed budgets.
- Work alongside the Senior Management Team and Directors in contributing to the achievement of overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with procedural, regulatory, quality, environmental and corporate social responsibility policies.
- Collaborate with operational management and the supply chain to identify innovation and source new and alternative materials and methods.
- Work with the Legal team to establish standard T&C and best practice.
- Be an advocate for Procurement, influence senior managers, and design and lead on direct benefits realisation.
- Lead and drive up-skilling and training within the Procurement team.
- Lead client facing activities across regional projects.
- Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers, grievances, claims, conflicts, product non-conformance or quality issues.
- Manage corporate initiatives with the supply chain.
- Lead Sustainability for Procurement both internally and externally.
- Ensure supplier evaluation forms and risk assessments are maintained.
