About Graduate Programme: The STRABAG UK Graduate Programme has been designed to provide you with powerful development and experience, giving you an incredible start to your career with us. It starts with your induction week, held offsite, where together, we focus on communication, teamwork and connection. You will learn more about yourself, your colleagues and the business. You will also be introduced to your mentor who will be there to support you throughout. The STRABAG UK Graduate Programme is 15 months in duration and offers industry leading development. It is intense but hugely rewarding and on successful completion, you will receive accreditations and qualifications from industry recognised bodies such as:
- The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
- Association for Project Management (APM)
- Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Professionals (ISEP)
- British Tunnelling Society (BTS)
- The Institute of Leadership (IOL)
You will also begin your journey with professional associations such as The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
STRABAG’S Recruitment & Selection Process:
Our graduate selection process shall comprise of the following stages:
- Application
- Online assessment
- Shortlisting
- Graduate Assessment Centre
Role Requirements:
- Assist in the preparation of project final accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of internal or external reports
- Cash management including WIP control and cash flow production
- Drafting of subcontracts including professional services
- Identification of insurance claims and understanding policy coverage
- Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change control measures
- Measurement of quantities in accordance with the standard methods of measurement as required
- Support with any tender preparation processes
- Supporting in the preparation of valuations/applications for payment
- Use the cost allocation/coding which satisfies both internal and external requirements
- Utilise cost controlling systems and methods
