About Graduate Programme:

The STRABAG UK Graduate Programme has been designed to provide you with powerful development and experience, giving you an incredible start to your career with us. It starts with your induction week, held offsite, where together, we focus on communication, teamwork and connection. You will learn more about yourself, your colleagues and the business. You will also be introduced to your mentor who will be there to support you throughout. The STRABAG UK Graduate Programme is 15 months in duration and offers industry leading development. It is intense but hugely rewarding and on successful completion, you will receive accreditations and qualifications from industry recognised bodies such as:

  • The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
  • Association for Project Management (APM)
  • Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Professionals (ISEP)
  • British Tunnelling Society (BTS)
  • The Institute of Leadership (IOL)

You will also begin your journey with professional associations such as The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

STRABAG’S Recruitment & Selection Process:

Our graduate selection process shall comprise of the following stages:

  • Application
  • Online assessment
  • Shortlisting
  • Graduate Assessment Centre

Role Requirements:

  • Assisting in specification, procurement, implementation and safe operations of all electrical systems required for project delivery
  • Coordinate electrical distribution systems requirements across all relevant construction sites.
  • Enabling compliance with safe systems of works
  • Ensuring electrical commissioning and fault-finding on relevant machinery and equipment
  • Maintaining all records of inspections and maintenance (planned & unplanned)
  • Participating & supporting in implementation of a planned preventative maintenance scheme and oversee the spare parts management, including the correct stock level of electrical consumables, etc.
  • Supporting in the management of specialist subcontractors undertaking electrical works on site
  • Supporting in implementation of the electrical operating safety procedures, including safe systems of work, risk assessments & method statements and task briefings associated with electrical distribution
