Your contribution to our company

  • Responsible for setting up Building Information Modelling procedures, strategy, and operating model structures for the STRABAG UK business and various components of large infrastructure projects.
  • Leading and mentoring the BIM project team and acting as point of contact for BIM specialists
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 19650) and project specific requirements maintaining quality assurance processes for BIM deliverables
  • Coordination of the development of the STRABAG UK BIM environment and coordination with the Information Management team.
  • Staying up to date with the latest BIM technologies and practices, exploring new tools and solutions to enhance BIM capabilities
  • Providing BIM training and workshops on both project and non-project bases to internal and external team members on BIM processes, tools, and project requirements.
  • Working in international and dynamic project teams, leading the BIM integration of all project disciplines
  • Leasing with the estimation team, construction execution, designers, modellers, and schedulers towards integration of relevant information into the models and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaising with the client’s BIM team and other external BIM teams
  • Promotion and communication of best practise
  • Identifying BIM trends and business opportunities
  • Building regulations and planning permission processes
  • Job familiarisation with internal Group’s BIM function
