We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support the Design Manager in delivering high quality, coordinated design solutions across a multidisciplinary civil engineering project.

- Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office packages.
- Construction / Design experience - 2 years (degree), 5 years (HND/HNC).
- Keen interest in design management and multidisciplinary project delivery.
- Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach.
Your contribution to our company:
- Assist the Design Manager in the coordination of multidisciplinary design teams, including external consultants and supply chain partners.
- Assist the Design Manager in the management of the design programme, ensuring alignment with construction and project milestones.
- Maintain effective communication channels between various design stakeholders by coordinating Design Management meeting calendars, attendance of team meetings, production of meeting minutes.
- Support the implementation of the Design Management Plan and design delivery strategy.
- Assist in coordination of design submission reviews, checking, and approvals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and relevant standards.
- Assist in the integration of design with construction methodologies, sequencing, and temporary works requirements to ensure buildability.
- Assist in the management of design risks, value engineering and optioneering to optimise cost, programme, and performance.
- Support the Design Manager in the interface with clients, stakeholders, and statutory authorities for all design matters.
- Support the Commercial Team with the commercial management of design scope, changes, and contractual obligations.
- Assist in ensuring effective communication across project teams to ensure coordinated and efficient design delivery.
