Your Role as an HVAC Detail Designer:
- Design and modify HVAC routed systems and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Produce clear and precise 2D outputs from fully developed 3D models in line with engineering specifications.
- Work closely with HVAC System Designers and multi-disciplinary teams to resolve spatial integration issues.
- Interpret complex schematic diagrams and integrate HVAC systems efficiently.
- Work with HVAC equipment catalogues to ensure accurate system designs.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Essential:- Experience in HVAC detail design.
- Experience in creating HVAC outputs and working with part catalogues.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Knowledge of Naval/Commercial shipbuilding.
- Understanding of BOM and product data sheets.
- Broader routed system experience (if HVAC-specific experience is limited).

Security Clearance – A Must for This Role
Due to the nature of our projects, full Security Clearance (SC) is required. Candidates must already hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance. A valid DBS/Disclosure Scotland certificate is mandatory (costs covered by the company).
