Overview
As the Volunteer Resource Centre Supporter, you will play an important role supporting the day to day activities at the Breadline Centre, Penzance.
Clients can access a range of facilities at the centre including showers, food, toilets, clothing, bedding, laundry and storage as well as activities that actively promote health and wellbeing.
Under the supervision of the Resettlement Team, you will be able to support these services.
Responsibilities
- Support daily activities and services at the Breadline Centre under the supervision of the Resettlement Team.
- Assist clients accessing facilities (showers, food, toilets, clothing, bedding, laundry and storage) and participate in activities promoting health and wellbeing.
- Availability and Commitment
- Volunteer availability Monday–Friday between 9:30 and 16:30; regular or flexible time commitments welcome.
- Ability to work with a diverse client group and follow centre procedures.

Please note the Breadline Centre is a three-storey building and access to the second and third floors is via a steep stairwell.
