The Governors of our popular primary school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dedicated Play Worker to work in our Before & After School Club, known as BASE. The successful candidate will work alongside existing staff to provide fantastic, high quality play and care provision, both before and after the school day. We are very lucky to have a well-resourced, dedicated building which contributes to our highly successful provision. All staff maintain a safe & stimulating play setting and encourage child centred play for children aged 3 to 11 years. At St Peter’s we have high expectations where everyone achieves and succeeds within a safe, inclusive Christian community. We promote independence, respect and empathy in our pupils.
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Hours: 7:45am to 9am Tues, Wed, Thurs; 2:45pm to 5:45pm Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs; term time only (working 38 weeks per year)
Salary: £8,922 per year (£743 per month)
We also have a vacancy for a midday supervisor working from 11:45am to 1:15pm on Mondays & Fridays. 3 hours per week, term time only, with a pro rata salary of £1,629 per year (£135 per month). Please let us know if you are interested in this position.
First Aid, food hygiene and child protection/safeguarding training will be provided.
