Job Title: Saturday Farm Assistant
Department: Community/Farm
Salary: £14.57 per hour (sessional rate)
Hours of work: 7.5 per week - Saturdays
Contract term: 12 months & Subject to a 6 month probationary period
Job Purpose: To open and close the Farm on a Saturday, feeding and caring for the animals, keeping the farm clean and tidy and ensuring the safety & welfare of the animals. The role also includes meeting & greeting visitors to the farm. Knowledge of handling a variety of farm animals and experience of feeding and caring for a variety of farm animals is essential along with great communication skills when dealing with the public.
