An exciting opportunity is immediately available for a Presales Technical Consultant in London. PMplus is an innovative cloud-native, unicode solution developed by SuisseTechPartners, an international financial technology company headquartered in Europe. Independently owned and managed, SuisseTechPartners is a fully-funded private company. This independence means that the company has the freedom to allocate resources and expertise to align with the long-term strategy and goals of our clients, and achieve sustainable mutual success.

Job Summary: The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the strengths and capabilities of our flagship PMplus system, which is built to serve Asset Managers and Servicers, Trustees, Insurance and Wealth Managers. Such demonstrations are interactive sessions, usually held with C-level prospects; demos are held either in-person throughout UK/Europe or via Zoom/Teams etc. Previous experience of demonstrating complex financial software in at least one of these industries is an absolute pre-requisite.
Job Details: The successful candidate must be able to quickly master our System such that a professional business demonstration can be given to a potential buyer. The main job responsibilities are:
- Demonstrate mastery of our application and be able to develop scripts appropriate for the specific demonstration and customer segment.
- Show an ability to thoughtfully and confidently interact with a prospect to ensure that the appropriate features are showcased.
- Actively contribute to closing customer new business by providing the support necessary to sales and executives of STP.
- Act as the intermediary between prospects and our technical teams, to ensure that business questions are fully analyzed tracked and answered in pursuit of the sale.
- Participate in hands-on Customer workshops towards ‘solution engineering’ of complex financial services requirements.
- Contribute to the Company’s product developments by representing the ‘customer viewpoint’.
Desired Profile:
- Graduate in accounting/finance from reputed Institution; Advanced/Master’s degree and certifications are a plus.
- Over 5+ years of experience of client/prospect-facing work in several of these domains: Investment & Wealth Management, Asset Servicing, Trustee Depository, Capital Markets (Hedge Funds, Alternative Investment, Portfolio Accounting, Investment Operations).
- Good knowledge of the principles of accounting, performance measurement and risk would be highly beneficial. Certifications may include CFA Level 1. In lieu of this, a prior relevant Operations background might suffice.
- Understanding of various financial instruments and types; especially the static data and setup pertaining to those instruments.
- Handling of Implementation and Post-Implementation Support would be an added advantage.
- Understanding and experience of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and experience are essential. An additional language would be a plus.
- Confident working with local and remote senior management of the firm and of working flexibly to accommodate differing time zones.
- Flexible on working hours to accommodate special business requirements.
- English fluency is required, additional European languages will be a plus.
