We are seeking a sophisticated, operationally minded Recruitment Manager to oversee our blue-collar labour divisions. This role is designed for a senior professional who views recruitment through a commercial lens—balancing high-volume delivery with rigorous systemic integrity.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the energy recruitment sector, specifically within the mobilisation of skilled trades for Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, and Nuclear Onshore Civils. You will be responsible for the dual mandate of delivering at a high level and leading a recruitment team strategically.
Core Responsibilities And Duties- Operational Leadership: Drive the performance of the recruitment team through structured KPIs, mentoring, and the implementation of best-in-class sourcing strategies.
- Business Unit Management: Manage the recruitment lifecycle as a business function, focusing on margin retention, cost-of-hire analytics, and long-term workforce planning.
- Database & Systems Governance: Act as the primary custodian of our Applicant tracking system. You will ensure 100% data accuracy, maintain tight compliance workflows, and leverage system automation to increase 'speed-to-market.'
- Strategic Sourcing: Maintain an active personal desk, sourcing specialised blue-collar personnel for energy projects globally.
- Regulatory Compliance: Have experience and understanding of certification types in the energy sector, such as BOSIET, MIST, GWO and various trade skill certifications.
- Sector Expertise: A minimum of 5 years in senior recruitment roles within the Energy or Heavy Infrastructure sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the labour requirements for offshore assets, nuclear new-builds, and large-scale onshore civil engineering.
- Systemic Discipline: A proven track record of managing and optimising recruitment databases. You should be an advocate for 'clean data' and process-driven recruitment.
