Stowen Scaffolding & Roofing is a growing contractor working across scaffolding, roofing, rope access, and industrial services. We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take control of the commercial side of our projects—ensuring jobs are priced correctly, managed efficiently, and delivered profitably. This is a key role within the business with strong progression opportunities as we expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and tender pricing
- Review drawings, specifications, and project scope
- Manage project budgets and cost control
- Submit and manage applications for payment
- Handle valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Administer contracts (NEC, JCT or similar)
- Work closely with operations and management teams
- Liaise with clients and contractors
Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction
- Strong knowledge of costing, valuations, and variations
- Experience with NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Desirable
- Experience in scaffolding, access, or roofing projects
- Experience supporting tender pricing
