We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver Scaffolder/HGV Driver Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting scaffolding materials to and from job sites, as well as erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently. This role requires a valid HGV license, scaffolding experience, and a strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving & Transport: Operate an HGV (Class 2 or Class 1) to transport scaffolding equipment between sites. Ensure the safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials. Conduct vehicle checks and maintenance in accordance with regulations. Adhere to all road safety and transport legislation.
- Scaffolding Work: Assemble, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures following technical drawings and safety procedures. Ensure all scaffolding is erected securely and meets legal requirements. Work closely with site supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently. Perform risk assessments and follow all health and safety regulations.
- General Duties: Maintain a clean and organised vehicle and workspace. Report any vehicle defects or scaffolding safety concerns. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Requirements
- Essential: Valid HGV Class 2 (or Class 1) license with CPC & digital tachograph card. CISRS Scaffolding qualification (Part 1, Part 2, or Advanced). Previous experience in scaffolding and HGV driving. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures. Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
