Job Introduction
Swanbourne House School is seeking a Wrap‑Around Care Supervisor to deliver a safe, caring, and stimulating after‑school programme for children in EYFS and KS1. You will create a welcoming environment where every child feels happy, secure, and inspired to learn through play.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children.
- Supervise play, activities, and mealtimes to promote positive behaviour and social interaction.
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Support children’s wellbeing, comfort, and personal needs.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.

Essential skills and qualifications
- Level 2 Childcare qualification (or working towards completion).
- Experience of working or volunteering with young children.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and child wellbeing.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
