Role Overview
Stowe School is seeking an outstanding and inspirational Head of Cricket to lead and develop one of its flagship sports programmes. The role will commence in September 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

- Provide clear vision and leadership for all aspects of cricket at Stowe
- Develop players of all abilities, from beginners to elite performers
- Promote high standards of coaching, performance, and participation
- Build on the school’s competitive success at regional and national level
- Foster an inclusive and inspiring cricket culture across the school community
Qualifications and Experience
A successful track record of playing and coaching cricket at a high level is essential. This experience may have been gained across a range of environments, and applications are welcomed from candidates from all backgrounds within the game. Alongside technical expertise, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to inspire boys and girls to love cricket, develop a drive to improve, and take pride in representing the school.
The appointed individual will act as an ambassador for cricket within the school and be a custodian of its values and reputation. It is important that Stowe teams consistently display high standards of commitment, sportsmanship, appearance, and punctuality. The ability and willingness to contribute to winter sports coaching at any level would be advantageous.

Stowe School
Stowe School is an independent co‑educational boarding school with approximately 900 pupils and a faculty of around 500 full and part‑time staff, 60 of whom live on site. The Stowe Group of schools is situated on four separate sites in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire, educating children from 3 to 18 years.
