We are excited to share this opportunity to join Stowe and be part of our largest technological transformation. This brand-new, 12m Fixed Term contract role will form part of our People and Culture Team, working closely with key stakeholders and the change team with responsibility for embedding organisation‑wide change, with people at the heart.
Our People & Change Lead will play an essential role in shaping a more connected, inclusive and agile workforce as we continue to work towards our aim to be a tech‑forward family law firm. We are looking for someone to lead through change with a people‑focused lens, ensuring successful adoption of new ways of working and technology, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Culture & Communications, the role blends project leadership, change expertise and people insight to deliver and embed change and create meaningful, lasting impact. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of our firm and our people, making sure change is designed and delivered in a way that reflects how colleagues work, what they need and what will help them thrive.
The overarching remit of this role is to coordinate a plan for readiness and training to support the successful adoption of a new technology infrastructure. This is a new role, initially to oversee a large‑scale tech transformation but there is scope for this role to become permanent and evolve to support wider firm change plans and integrations.
Responsibilities:- Working closely with the project team to promote change adoption and capability development
- Designing and implementing people change frameworks, conducting change impact assessments and monitoring progress
- Working with the Talent Development Partner and external partners on plans for readiness, training and embedding
- Promoting engagement with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment, clarity in decision‑making, and championing cultural change
- Oversee the production of clear, accessible, and user‑friendly learning and support resources (e.g., guides, walkthroughs, microlearning) to support the cultural transition
- Coordinate effectively with the wider People team, Internal Communications and external partners considering every aspect of the colleague journey
- Co‑create change and communication plans with Internal Communications
- Consider all aspects of the project through an accessibility and inclusivity POV
- Proven experience, ideally in a people change role
- Ability to influence leaders and teams at all organisational levels through the change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
